Fee: $2,150, plus $450 certification feeThis course introduces the fundamentals of stick welding, also known as Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW). Students will learn the skills necessary to perform a groove weld on a fixed, flat (horizontal) plate coupon using the SMAW process in compliance with industry standards such as AWS D1.1.
By the end of the course, participants should be able to produce a weld that meets structural integrity and soundness requirements. Welds will be inspected by a certified professional to qualify for the AWS SMAW 1G Certification.
Certification fees ($450) are not included in the course price.

Fee: $300Any renovation, repair, or painting (RRP) project in a pre-1978 home or building can easily create dangerous lead dust.
EPA requires that RRP projects that disturb lead-based paint in homes, child care facilities and preschools built before 1978 be performed by lead-safe certified contractors.
Generally, EPA鈥檚 Lead RRP rule does not apply to homeowners doing RRP projects in their own homes. However, it does apply if
- you rent all or part of your home,
- operate a child care center in your home
- or if you buy, renovate, and sell homes for profit (i.e., a house flipper).
The training will be conducted by a fully accredited EPA Training Provider that offers renovator training courses throughout the country.
If you are a renovator, maintenance worker, or contractor working on property with a construction date that precedes 1978, by federal law, you are required to become EPA certified.
For a first-time certification, class duration is approximately 8 hours. Upon course completion, your certification remains valid for up to five years

Fees: $1,813.50Intensive in-person training designed to jump start a new career in skilled trades.
Upon successful completion, participants will earn CPR/AED/First Aide certification, OSHA 10 certification, EPA certification in Renovation, Repair, and Painting, and instruction on tool usage in addition of specific skills training in the construction industry.
Industry employers will be on site to visit with pre-apprenticeship participants.
