Professional truck driver training - CDL-A

Professional Truck DriverOur 160-hour Professional Truck Driver Training Program is designed to prepare students for entry-level driving positions in the trucking industry. 

This comprehensive program goes beyond simply preparing students for the Missouri or Kansas Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A performance exam—it equips graduates with the skills and knowledge needed for a successful and rewarding career in trucking.

The program aligns with federal entry-level driver training (ELDT) requirements as outlined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR) and meets state guidelines for earning a Class A CDL.

Students will benefit from a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on training, ensuring a thorough understanding of

  • commercial motor vehicle (CMV) operations,
  • safety procedures,
  • and state requirements.

With expert instructors and real-world driving experience, this program provides the foundation for a strong start in the trucking industry.

CDL Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–5 p.m.

$5,600
Class Size:
Limited to 4–6 students (first-come, first-served based on completion of all steps)
Transmission Type:
Automatic (no manual transmission training)

Student requirements
  • 18 years of age
  • Have a valid operator's license
  • Pass the DOT drug screen and physical
  • Meet federal requirements to work in the career field
  • A clean motor vehicle report (MVR) driving record
  • Be able to attend scheduled classes

  • June 29-July 29 MTW only, August 3-7 MTWRF
    Schedule has changed due to FIFA World Cup; 91³Ô¹ÏÍø campuses will be closed on Thursdays and Fridays in June and July.
Choose 1 CDL Permit Prep class- 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

CDL-B Training Program

Our 80-hour CDL-B training course is an intensive, two-week program designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in commercial driving. Through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on training, students will learn essential driving techniques, vehicle inspection procedures, safety regulations, and gain real-world behind-the-wheel experience.

Led by expert instructors, this program prepares students to confidently pass the CDL-B skills test and enter the workforce with the qualifications needed for commercial driving roles. Whether you're launching a new career or expanding your opportunities, our CDL-B training provides the foundation for success.

No classes for CDL-B currently available.

Most truck drivers find employment in large metropolitan areas or along major interstate roadways where trucking, retail and wholesale companies tend to have their distribution outlets.

Some drivers work in rural areas providing specialized services. Career possibilities include:
