Step 1: Choose your training path

We take great pride in offering high-quality accelerated programs that quickly train up a workforce for in-demand jobs.

Training locations:

  • Healthcare programs: 91³Ô¹ÏÍø-Penn Valley Health Science Institute, 3444 Broadway, KC, MO 64111
  • Technical programs: 91³Ô¹ÏÍø-Penn Valley Advanced Technical Skills Institute, 2844 Troost, KC, MO 64111
  • Transportation programs: Conducted at various sites.

Non-credit certificate programs

Pathways into careers in key industry sectors, include:

Certified Medical Technician

Certified Nurse Assistant

Commercial Drivers License

Stick (Arc) Welding-SMAW

Community Health Worker

Pharmacy Technician

Phlebotomy

Step 2: Eligibility, SkillUP intake and enrollment steps

  1. Complete eligibility form below.
  2. Check your email: In 7-10 business days, a SkillUP Navigator will contact you by email to set a required appointment.
  3. The Navigator may request that you return signed documents before your appointment.
  4. After your appointment, you will be enrolled in your chosen program.
  5. You must be eligible for SNAP on the first day of class to be able to stay enrolled.

** 91³Ô¹ÏÍø SkillUP has a waiting list.
** If you already have a degree, license or credential with which you could find employment, you may not be eligible for SkillUP. Please contact SkillUP manager below with questions.
